My last post for 2018

Hi everyone, this is my last blog post for 2018. 

This year I  have enjoyed our team camp, Big splash and athletics

I would like to thank Miss Green, Fairy Judy, Foram and all the teachers at Owairaka District School for helping me with my learning.

Omar Place Value Riddles.

Kauri big splash

Today, December the 7th, we had Kauri big splash. The events we had was freestyle ,seal race, class relay, bucket relay and the noodle tow.
My favourite event was the flutterboard relay race.

Camp 2K18

On the 29th of October Room 8 went to camp. I had a incredible time and so did my friends. I shared a cabin with Luka, Uati, Muhamood and Isaiah. We laughed a lot.

For the activities we did lots of things I hadn't done before. We did some kayaking, water sliding ( I had done this), go karting, archery and much more.



And don't forget about the lunches we had, they were amazing.

Athletics 2K18

On 28th of October we went to love lock track as our school athletics day. We did long jump, high jump, shot put, discus and sprints. We showed excellent maanakitanga and great sportsmanship. To qualify for the Eden Albert zone finals team your year had to be 3-6 and you had to come 1st or 2nd.
